Violinist Teddy Sicking has won the Keep an Eye Outstanding Talent Award, a prize for the most exceptional talent from Young Metropole, an orchestra which brings together the best classical and jazz students from the Dutch conservatories. Teddy is principal violin during the Young Metropole Autumn Tour 2023.

Teddy studied violin at both the Sweelinck Academy and the Junior Jazz College four young talents, and now studies jazz and classical violin in the bachelor’s degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

The winner of this award will be given the possibility to study at the place of his or her choice or to follow one or more masterclasses. He or she will therefore receive a tailored prize package.
