In category 2b (15 -19 years old and studying at a conservatory's preparatory programme/young talents class) violinist Anne Bazen (16) won first prize. This qualifies her for the National Semi-Final on April 21 in the Stadsgehoorzaal in Leiden. Anne studies with Judith van Driel.

Vincent Kalk (16), cello, won second prize. Vincent is a student of Monique Heidema.

Finally, horn player Thyra Buijs (15), a student of Fokke van Heel, won third prize.
