Due to recent government policies, Dutch universities and higher education institutions no longer receive funding to cover the education costs of students with non-EEA nationalities. As a result, higher education institutions, including the AHK, are forced to charge this group of students higher tuition fees to cover the costs of education.
The AHK believes that a student’s financial situation should not prevent them from developing their talents. This has led the AHK to design a Talent Grant for non-EEA students that demonstrate exceptional merit. Talented students can now apply for a grant to help towards covering their tuition fees. Each application is assessed on the student’s potential, as well as his or her financial situation.
To apply for the grant, you are required to submit the completed application form no later than 1 June 2012 to your study advisor.
