Gulnara Shafigullina wins first prize in category opera at the 49th International Vocal Competition

Sunday September 30 CvA-student Gulnara Shafigullina won the first prize in category opera during the 49th International Vocal Competition for an impressive performance at the finals of this important event which is held every second year.

A couple of weeks ago Gulnara won the second prize at the Montserrat Caballé Concours in Madrid.

We also congratulate Gulnara's teacher, Sasja Hunnego, who brought three students to the finals (never happened before), and all of them won prizes: Gulnara Shafigullina, Maria Fiselier en Hannah Bradbury.
